In the beginning, there was liberalization:
The deregulation of the energy markets created the need for new, comprehensive IT solutions.
Recognizing this demand, SIEMENS and Tengg & Partner founded smart technologies GmbH in 1999 — with a clear focus on the calculation and settlement of balancing energy in the electricity and gas markets.
Over the years, we have continuously expanded our product portfolio with auction platforms, schedule management systems, and other innovative solutions for the execution of energy market processes — always with a focus on adapting to the evolving needs of the market.
We don’t chase trends. We set new standards.
A prime example is the development of SMART CUBE, our modular platform system that allows us to respond to market dynamics and changes quickly and with maximum flexibility.
